In the six-month battle with activists including billionaire Nelson Peltz, who is seeking a seat on Disney’s (DIS) board, T. Rowe Price (TROW), a top-20 shareholder, is backing CEO Bob Iger’s camp, saying in a statement that “We are comfortable that management has a viable plan to address the important matters facing the company,” The Financial Times’ Christopher Grimes, Harriet Agnew, and Ortenca Aliaj report. Iger has also secured endorsements from JPMorgan (JPM) Jamie Dimon, members of the Disney family, and shareholders including Laurene Powell Jobs and Star Wars creator George Lucas.
