National Bank analyst Travis Wood upgraded Suncor to Outperform from Sector Perform with a price target of C$61, up from C$60. The analyst cites the strategic acquisition of Surmont, a "compelling" valuation and the firm’s view that relative operational downside is becoming limited as the company "appears to be establishing a more conservative approach to operational milestones" for the upgrade.
