Goldman Sachs analyst Catherine O’Brien raised the firm’s price target on Sun Country Airlines to $18 from $17 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The analyst cites the company’s Q4 earnings beat while noting that the airline saw staffing constraints ease in the quarter which allowed the company to flex utilization up in peak periods to better match demand and with management noting these periods represent the highest margin opportunities for Sun Country. Sun Country’s improving ability to flex up utilization in peak periods will bolster the company’s profitability due to the higher contribution margins, the firm tells investors in a research note.
