Stellantis is laying off about 400 employees in the U.S. as works to introduce its first electric vehicles in North America, Ryan Felton of Wall Street Journal reports. Stellantis directed non-union software employees to work from home Friday, saying it’ll hold “important operational meetings that require specific attention and participation,” according to an email reviewed by the paper.
