Starbucks Q2 comp estimate lowered at Cleveland Research

Cleveland Research is lowering its Q2 comp estimate for Starbucks to flat, versus the 1.9% consensus growth estimate, and sees risk for further downside given that the firm’s checks indicate that the impact of recent limited time offer efforts “sounds underwhelming” and it thinks there is not much clarity on what kind of lift upcoming new items can generate.
