Spruce Point issues critical research update opinion on WSP Global

Spruce Point Capital has issued a critical research update opinion on WSP Global, which it says has issued no formal response to last week’s forensic report. The firm alleges that within two months of receiving whistleblower documents, WSP’s Chief Legal Officer resigned, and within a year the CFO left. In addition, Spruce Point claims to have documented emails that show disagreement around the operating structure and within two months of being on an email chain, WSP’s finance director in the U.K. left.
