Spirit Airlines pilots begin looking for other opportunities, Reuters reports

Some of Spirit Airlines’ (SAVE) pilots are worried and have begun looking into other opportunities after a U.S. judge blocked the proposed merger with JetBlue Airways (JBLU), Allison Lampert and Rajesh Singh of Reuters report. Spirit pilots, recruiters, and industry sources told Reuters that the ruling has led to an increase in job applications to other places of employment. A Spirit spokesperson has said the levels are not out of the ordinary and pilot resignations are below its forecast for 2024.
