Credit Suisse analyst Nicholas Campanella raised the firm’s price target on Southern Company to $70 from $60 as he reviews investment drivers for the company and provides his full year 2023 preview where he sees flat EPS growth year -over-year compared to 2022, driven by financing costs, reversal of favorable weather & usage, GP’s rate settlement where the revenue requirement is backend weighted and dilution from the 2022 convert. The analyst keeps an Underperform rating on the shares.
