Sony’s ‘Helldivers 2’ tops U.K. sales charts for 4th straight week, GI.biz says

Sony’s (SONY) PlayStation 5 game “Helldivers 2” is in first place in the U.K. charts for a fourth consecutive week, though sales are finally declining, if only down just 30% week-on-week, Gameindsutry.biz’s Christopher Dring reports, citing digital and physical data from GSD. Square Enix’s (SQNXF) “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” is in second place, while the “Remake” and “Rebirth” double pack is fourth overall in the U.K., Dring says, noting that “Rebirth” launch sales are 34% lower than that of “Remake” in 2020. “Rebirth” launch sales in the U.K. are higher, however, than that of “Final Fantasy XVI” last year, the author notes.
