TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in a tweet thread that Sony (SONY) will replace Lumentum (LITE) as the exclusive ToF VCSEL supplier for Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max devices. Lumentum/Win Semi will face long-term structural risks in the VCSEL market due to Sony’s technological advances, as Sony will likely continue taking the company’s orders from other major customers, says Kuo.
