Solid Power initiated with a Hold at Stifel

Stifel analyst Vincent Anderson initiated coverage of Solid Power with a Hold rating and $5 price target. Solid Power is an early stage developer of solid electrolyte materials and battery cells, Anderson tells investors in a research note. The analyst believes the positives are balanced by the company’s early stage of development and publicly available test data, hurdles for longer-term procurement of raw materials at commercial scale, and general risk associated with its "lengthy" commercialization timeline.
