SLR Investment initiated with Neutral, $15 target at B. Riley

B. Riley analyst Bryce Rowe last night initiated coverage of SLR Investment with a Neutral rating and $15 price target. Despite a 20% valuation discount to net asset value, SLR’s risk/reward profile is balanced given its “relatively narrow cushion” between estimated net investment income per share and the dividend, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says the company has an asset yield below the peer median and a recent track record of share compression.
