Six Flags (SIX) is nearing a deal to merge with regional-theme-park peer Cedar Fair Entertainment (FUN), according to The Wall Street Journal’s Lauren Thomas and Will Feuer, citing people familiar with the matter. A deal to tie up the theme-park chains could be finalized as soon as this week, the report added.
