SiriusXM plans to reduce staff in the coming weeks amid faltering sales growth, Ashley Carman and Lucas Shaw of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter. Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Witz is looking to reduce costs and get ahead of any potential economic slowdown, sources told Bloomberg. The number of cuts wasn’t immediately known, according to the journalists. Sirius XM had 5,590 employees at the end of 2021.
