Silicon Motion Technology announced that Jason Tsai, currently VP of IR and Finance at Silicon Motion, has been appointed Interim CFO of the Company effective as of April 25, 2024. Tsai succeeds Mr. Riyadh Lai who will be stepping down as CFO, effective as of April 25, 2024. Riyadh Lai will be staying on with the Company where he will continue to support the Company’s various strategic and investment initiatives to deliver value to our stockholders. The Company has initiated a search process for the permanent CFO position.
