Sega COO Shuji Utsumi told CNBC at the Web Summit tech conference in Lisbon, Portugal, that the game maker is eyeing more acquisitions following the Rovio deal as it aims to expand its ownership of game developers. The executive indicated that the “Sonic the Hedgehog” publisher would look to find more M&A targets as opportunities in the market arise, according to CNBC. “As an entity of Sega Sammy, we are acquiring some of the companies,” Utsumi said. “We just made an announcement . We are still looking for opportunities for growth.”
