Samsung employees back to work after failed strike, NY Times reports

Unionized workers at Samsung Electronics in South Korea, who last month declared an indefinite strike, have returned to work after failing to win concessions from the global tech giant, Jin Yu Young of The New York Times report. It was the first unionized action in the history of Samsung, but the striking employees, roughly 6,500, accounted for only a fraction of union membership and a sliver of the company’s total workforce.
