RTX is in advanced discussions to sell the Collins Hoist and Winch unit of its Collins Aerospace division to private equity firm Arcline Investment Management, Bloomberg’s Kiel Porter reports. According to people familiar with the matter, Arcline-backed Signia Aerospace could announce a deal to buy the RTX unit as soon as this week, and a deal may value the operations at $500M or more.
