RTX subsidiary Collins Aerospace is in discussions with NASA to withdraw from its contract to make new spacesuits for astronauts on the International Space Station, setting back the agency’s efforts to modernize its decades-old spacesuits, Reuters’ Joey Roulette reports, citing two people familiar with the discussions. The contract was part of $3.5B awarded to both Collins and Axiom Space by the agency two years ago, the author notes.
