Royal Gold provides update on potential acquisition of Serrote, Santa Rita mines

Royal Gold announced that ACG Acquisition issued a press release providing an update with respect to the transaction for the acquisition of the entities that own the Serrote and Santa Rita mines from Appian Capital Advisory and that revisions to the acquisition agreement have yet to be agreed; the long stop date of August 18 has now passed and the acquisition agreement may be terminated at any time; discussions between Appian, the anchor investors and ACG are ongoing; and ACG has 12 months from the completion date of its initial public offering to complete an acquisition, subject to two three-month extensions without shareholder approval.
