Rocket Companies has appointed Alex Rampell as an independent director to the company’s Board of Directors. Rampell currently serves as General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, focusing on fintech investments. He cofounded many tech-driven financial companies including Affirm, a business in the ‘buy-now-pay-later’ space, which went public in early 2021. He also cofounded TrialPay, a transactional advertising and payments company serving digital goods and e-commerce clients, which was acquired by Visa in 2015. Varun Krishna, Rocket Companies CEO, also joined the Board of Directors in December 2023. Rampell also serves on the boards of several Andreessen Horowitz portfolio companies.
