RLI Corp. price target raised to $170 from $165 at Compass Point

Compass Point analyst Casey Alexander raised the firm’s price target on RLI Corp. to $170 from $165 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. As long as premium rate growth can keep pace with inflation-impacted loss cost trends and the increased cost of reinsurance, the firm expects RLI will continue to “earn a strong ROTE and generate strong EPS,” the analyst tells investors.
