Private equity firm Redbird Capital has built a more than 5% interest in Blade Air Mobility, the Wall Street Journal’s Laura Cooper reports, citing RedBird founder and managing partner Gerry Cardinale. The firm has amassed the stake since originally taking a 1% position in the air-transportation provider in 2021, Cooper says. Reference Link
