As previously reported, BofA analyst Koji Ikeda upgraded PowerSchool to Buy from Neutral with a price target of $32, up from $20. He believes demand and budgets in its K-12 vertical end-markets will prove relatively more resilient than most of its vertical software peers, Ikeda tells investors. At a time when many others are reporting the opposite, PowerSchool is one of the few software companies recently reporting improving sales cycles, Ikeda added.
