The Pixar Animation Studios cuts previously reported about months ago as part of Disney’s cost-cutting plans are now commencing, according to Deadline’s Dade Hayes. Those let go number around 175 or 14% of the staff at Pixar, largely due to the scaling back of direct-to-consumer series, according to Deadline.
