PepsiCo (PEP) is shuttering its 24-year-old brand Sierra Mist and launching a new lemon-lime soda called Starry in order to compete with Coca-Cola’s (KO) popular Sprite brand, Bloomberg’s Kevin Simauchi, citing a statement by PepsiCo North America CMO Greg Lyons.
