After Disney and ValueAct Capital Management announced the sides have entered into a confidentiality agreement that enables the company to provide information to the investment firm and consult with ValueAct on strategic matters, Nelson Peltz of Trian issued a statement to CNBC’s Jim Cramer, telling the news service that ValueAct’s view does not impact Trian’s efforts at Disney or the firm’s own view.
