Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of Comedy Central’s “South Park”, have reached a deal with Paramount (PARAA) (PARA) for the global streaming rights to bring the cartoon to its digital service, Paramount+, in the U.S., the Los Angeles Times’ Meg James reported Monday, citing three people close to the negotiations. The five-year deal values the rights at $300M per year meaning the show will bring in $1.5B for streaming alone.
