OpenAI has fired back at Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk’s lawsuit, accusing Musk of suing when the company “started making meaningful progress towards OpenAI’s mission without him,” Bloomberg’s Rachel Metz and Shirin Ghaffary report. Musk has alleged that the ChatGPT-maker’s multibillion-dollar alliance with Microsoft (MSFT) has compromised the startup’s original mission of building AI systems for the benefit of humanity.
