UBS analyst Joshua Spector keeps the price target on Nutrien at $103 with a Buy rating while also naming the stock a Top Pick as part of a broader research note titled "2023 Fertilizer Outlook". Generally lower fertilizer pricing expectations should be partially offset by lower natural gas input costs, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm also believes that the seasonal peak in demand in the spring will provide support to pricing and act as a positive catalyst.
