The National Transportation Safety Board said via X that, “The NTSB is investigating the collision of two airplanes on the ground at New York’s LaGuardia Airport Wednesday night. An Endeavor Air CRJ-900, operating as Delta Air Lines (DAL) flight 5047, and a second Endeavor Air CRJ-900, operating as Delta flight 5155, collided at the intersections of Taxiways M and A. Passengers deplaned from both airplanes. There was damage to the right wing on flight 5155 and the nose and windscreen on flight 5047. The NTSB dispatched a team of 10 to LaGuardia. Flight recorders from both airplanes have been recovered and are now at NTSB headquarters in Washington for readout and analysis.”
