TD Cowen raised the firm’s price target on Norfolk Southern to $253 from $236 and keeps a Market Perform rating on the shares. The firm said they hired John Orr from CPKC as COO effective immediately. They are encouraged by the strong addition to the exec team, but noted he did not come cheap. They also updated their guidance for the second half of the year which is now better than expected.
