Nokia restructures India business, to cut roughly 250 jobs, Economic Times says

Nokia is undergoing a major restructuring of its India unit, eliminating key job profiles of the CFO, CTO, and legal affairs boss and establishing three business groups as part of cost reduction efforts that will likely result in about 250 layoffs, Economic Times’ Kalyan Parbat reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The reorganization comes amid a weak India business environment in the face of falling 5G CapEx spends by top telecoms in the region, the author notes.
