CIBC analyst Sumayya Syed initiated coverage of Nexus Industrial REIT with an Outperformer rating and C$10.50 price target. Nexus, which has largely repositioned from a diversified REIT into an industrial pure-play, is “among a limited set of opportunities for investors to gain pure-play exposure to Canadian industrial fundamentals,” says the analyst, who argues that the company’s organic-growth outlook will benefit as below-market leases mature over the next several years.
