CIBC analyst Anita Soni lowered the firm’s price target on Newmont to $44 from $48 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The analyst reduced the target after modelling in transaction costs related to the Nevada Gold Mines acquisition and updating costs related to the Penasquito strike resolution agreement.
