New Gold reports Q4 gold equivalent production 105,082 ounces

New Gold reports fourth quarter and full year operational results for the company as of December 31, 2023. The company is also providing notice that it will release its fourth quarter and full year 2023 financial results after market close on Tuesday, February 13. Fourth quarter consolidated gold equivalent production of 105,082 ounces, a 7% increase over the prior-year period. For the year, gold production exceeded 2023 guidance, with copper production achieving the top end. Rainy River continues to deliver stable production quarter-over-quarter. Both the open pit and underground mines delivered in the quarter, aided by another strong performance from the processing plant. Gold production achieved the top end of 2023 guidance. As a result of the strong fourth quarter operating results, 2023 consolidated gold equivalent production was 423,517 ounces, achieving the top end of 2023 consolidated production guidance.
