On its plans and pricing page, Netflix states that its Basic plan, which had cost $9.99 per month and didn’t feature ads, is “no longer available for new or rejoining members.” “If you are currently on the Basic plan, you can remain on this plan until you change plans or cancel your account,” the company adds. The company now lists three tier options for U.S. members: Standard with ads for $6.99 per month; Standard for $15.49 per month; and Premium for $19.99 per month, with extra member slots costing added fees.
