Activist investor Nelson Peltz has dissolved his entire interest in Disney, CNBC’s Sara Salinas and Scott Wapner report, citing a person familiar with the matter. Early last month, Trian’s Peltz lost a proxy battle at the media giant as investors re-elected the company’s full slate of board nominees, whereas Peltz was aiming to elect himself and former Disney CFO Jay Rasulo to the board, the authors note.
