NatWest Group reports Q4 EPS 13.0p vs. 4.1p last year

NatWest reported full year attributable profit of GBP 3,340 million and a return on tangible equity of 12.3%. Excluding notable items, income increased by GBP 2,877 million, or 28.3%, compared with 2021 principally reflecting volume growth, higher trading income and the improved rate environment. Bank NIM of 2.85% was 55 basis points higher than 2021. Q4 2022 Bank NIM increased by 21 basis points to 3.20% compared with Q3 2022.
