Natera announces jury verdict on damages below amount sought by Ravgen

The company states: “Natera announced that a jury has reached a verdict in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas regarding a patent infringement lawsuit brought by Ravgen, Inc. against Natera. Natera noted that the damages award of $57 million was significantly less than the $410 million Ravgen was seeking. In addition, the jury determined there was no willful infringement by Natera. This decision will have no impact on the Company’s ability to continue serving its customers. The patent at issue has expired.”
