Microsoft (MSFT) has offered to stop forcing customers of its Office software to also have its Teams video conferencing and messaging app automatically installed on their devices to prevent an official antitrust probe by EU regulators, two people with direct knowledge of the matter told Financial Times’ Javier Espinoza. The concession was offered to avoid a formal investigation following a 2020 complaint by rival Slack, which is part of Salesforce (CRM), the report noted. Reference Link
