Microsoft threatened to cut rivals’ Bing search index access over its use in their AI chat tools and warned at least two that they violated its terms, Bloomberg’s Leah Nylen and Dina Bass reported on Friday. According to people familiar with the matter, Microsoft has told at least two customers that using its Bing search index to feed their AI chat tools violates the terms of their contract.
