Microsoft (MSFT) admitted to the U.K.’s Competition and Markets Authority that its Game Pass subscription service cannibalizes sales of games on the service, Gamesindustry.biz’s Brendan Sinclair reports. "Microsoft also submitted that its internal analysis shows a % decline in base game sales twelve months following their addition on Game Pass," the CMA noted in its report on the Xbox maker’s proposed takeover of Activision Blizzard (ATVI).
