Loop Capital analyst Yun Kim initiated coverage of Microsoft with a Buy rating and $425 price target. The company’s growth is set to accelerate driven by its two most strategic businesses, Azure and generative artificial intelligence products, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says Microsoft has positioned itself to benefit from both large enterprises who prefer to “buy” pre-packaged GenAI solutions and independent software vendors (ISVs) who are currently building out their GenAI packaged solutions using Azure OpenAI Services.
