Benchmark contends that Micron’s (MU) fiscal Q4 report had “positive insights” for Western Digital (WDC) investors. NAND average selling prices, or ASPs, grew by a high-single digit percentage in the quarter and NAND bit shipments, which grew by a high-single-digit percentage quarter-over-quarter in fiscal Q4, and are expected to grow in calendar year 2025 by a mid-teen percentage, the analyst noted. Record sales and significantly improved profitability are expected in FY25 from Micron, which “bodes well” for Western Digital, adds the firm, which has a Buy rating and $92 price target on shares of the latter.
