MGM Resorts is suing the FTC to stop an investigation into a 2023 cyberattack and is asking that FTC Chair Lina Khan’s recusal, Bloomberg’s Sabrina Willmer reports. Khan was visiting MGM Grand on the Las Vegas strip in September when the company was hit by a cyberattack that temporarily shut down its computer systems, according to the report. The FTC is likely to challenge the MGM lawsuit, according to a person briefed on the situation.
