Meta’s Instagram is pitching to influencers a program that relies on artificial intelligence to interact with fans, Sapna Maheshwari and Mike Isaac of The New York Times reports. The program would allow influencers to chat with fans through direct messages on Instagram and potentially through comments in the future, five people briefed on the matter said.
