Meta has rejected a ruling by France’s Defender of Rights that found its Facebook ad algorithm indirectly discriminates based on gender, Reuters’ Foo Yun Chee reports. The watchdog said Meta‘s system treats users differently by sex, affecting how job ads are shown.
