MercadoLibre price target lowered to $1,800 from $2,000 at Barclays

Barclays analyst Trevor Young lowered the firm’s price target on MercadoLibre to $1,800 from $2,000 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. While 2023 was stronger than previously contemplated for global e-commerce, a softer start to 2024 in the U.S. “somewhat tempers our optimism and forecasts,” the analyst tells investors in a research note.
