Stifel raised the firm’s price target on Matson to $108 from $102 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. The company’s pre-released earnings came in above the firm’s numbers as it continue to benefit from the strong demand for expedited container shipping from China, the analyst tells investors. This quarter proves both its value proposition and cash flows have improved fundamentally, the firm says. However, given its normalized valuation, the firm does not believe it has much upside in the near term.
